As an Account Executive for the German marketyou will help organizations strengthen trust, integrity, and accountability through EQS solutions in Compliance & Ethics and/or Data PrivacyYou will own commercial opportunities from first conversation to closebuild trusted relationships with mid-market and/or enterprise customers, and translate complex regulatory needs into clear business value. 

This role is ideal for someone with a genuine hunger to sell and grow -a closer who thrives on building pipelinewinning new business, and exceeding targetsSaaS sales experience and consultative selling skills are essential; curiosity for governancecompliance, and privacy topics is a strong plus. YOUR IMPACT

The DACH market is at the center of EQS's growth story, and this role is about helping customers make compliance and data privacy more scalable, transparent, and effective.

  • Own end-to-end sales cycles across the German market, with a focus on Compliance & Ethics and Data Privacy solutions.
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline by identifying new business opportunities, qualifying customer needs, and driving structured follow-up.
  • Engage decision-makers and stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Data Privacy, Risk, and Management teams.
  • Present EQS solutions in a clear, value-oriented way, connecting product capabilities to regulatory challenges and measurable business outcomes.
  • Develop trusted customer relationships by understanding pain points, advising on solution fit, and creating confidence throughout the buying process.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Development, Marketing, Solution Consulting, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams to win new business and strengthen EQS's market presence.
  • Use Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, and AI-supported workflows to improve preparation, pipeline discipline, forecasting, and sales execution.
  • Bring market feedback into the organization to help sharpen positioning, campaigns, and customer messaging.
  • Travel across Germany on a regular basis to meet customers and prospects in person, attend industry events, and build relationships on the ground.

THIS IS YOU

Must have
  • Experience in B2B sales, business development, or a comparable commercial role, ideally with ownership of full or advanced sales-cycle stages.
  • Strong understanding of the German market, including local business culture, buying behavior, and customer expectations.
  • Consultative selling skills with the ability to understand complex customer needs and translate them into clear value propositions.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, including the ability to build trust with senior stakeholders and cross-functional buying groups.
  • Structured working style with strong pipeline management, follow-up discipline, and reliable CRM documentation.
  • A genuine hunger to sell and grow: you're driven to win new business, exceed targets, and proactively create opportunities, manage priorities, and take responsibility for outcomes.
  • Tech-driven mindset with curiosity for SaaS, AI-supported sales workflows, automation, and modern sales methodologies.
  • Fluency in German (C2) and strong English skills (C1).
Nice to have
  • Experience selling SaaS, Compliance & Ethics, Data Privacy, GRC, LegalTech, RegTech, or comparable business-critical software solutions.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar sales tools.
  • Knowledge of Compliance, GRC, governance, or data privacy topics, or experience working with Legal, Compliance, Data Privacy, Risk, or Governance stakeholders.
  • Experience contributing to local campaigns, events, webinars, roundtables, or market-building activities.
