AI Transformation Lead

As AI Transformation Lead, you’ll be the driving force behind EQS Group’s company-wide AI adoption. Reporting to the Head of AI, you’ll own the operational execution of a transformation program that spans every department, every region, and every level of the organization. Here’s how you’ll make your mark: 

• Run our global AI tool landscape – with rigor and curiosity! Own the experimentation, evaluation, selection, and continuous improvement of EQS Group’s enterprise AI tools. Stay on top of the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem, run structured pilots, gather user feedback, and ensure we’re always equipped with best-in-class tools that deliver real productivity gains. Manage vendor relationships, licensing, and rollout plans across all regions. 
• Orchestrate the AI Champions Network – and amplify its impact! Be the operational lead for our AI Champions Network, a group of AI-native employees embedded across every department. Facilitate regular exchanges, curate and circulate proven workflows, support Champions in uncovering high-value use cases in their teams, and ensure the network stays vibrant, connected, and impactful. Use the network as a sensing mechanism to understand where AI is creating the most value – and where it’s still underutilized. 
• Drive department-level workflow automation – where it matters most! Partner with department leads and AI Champions to identify, prioritize, and execute workflow automation opportunities. Ensure that department-specific efficiencies are not just discovered but actually built, adopted, and improved over time. Keep a structured portfolio of automation projects, track progress, remove blockers, and celebrate wins. 
• Shape the narrative – and keep the organization energized! Support internal communications that keep AI top of mind across EQS Group. Share use case spotlights, tool updates, success stories, and relevant industry developments. Help create a culture where experimentation is encouraged and knowledge flows freely across teams and geographies. 
• Build the measurement backbone – so we know what’s working! Develop and maintain an AI maturity framework in close collaboration with the Head of AI to track transformation progress in a structured, transparent way. Define KPIs, gather data on adoption and impact, and provide regular reporting to leadership. Ensure we can clearly articulate where we stand and where we’re headed. 
• Align with senior stakeholders – and focus on highest-ROI bets! Collaborate with senior leaders across the entire business – from Product and Engineering to Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Finance, and HR – to understand strategic priorities and ensure the AI Transformation focuses on the initiatives with the greatest return on investment. Be a trusted advisor who connects the dots between business needs and AI capabilities.

• You bring a strong business mindset – you understand ROI calculations, can prioritize ruthlessly, and always connect initiatives back to tangible business outcomes. You think in terms of value, not just features. 
• You bring strong project and program management skills – structured, organized, and reliable. You manage multiple parallel workstreams without dropping the ball. You know how to plan, track, escalate, and deliver. 
• You have high agency and a builder mentality – you don’t wait for permission to improve things. You see gaps, propose solutions, and execute. You’re energized by building something new rather than maintaining the status quo. 
• You are an outstanding communicator – able to engage and inspire colleagues at every level, from individual contributors to C-suite executives. You can simplify complex topics, tell compelling stories, and create momentum around change. 
• You have a university degree (the specific discipline is secondary) – what matters more is your intellectual curiosity, analytical ability, and willingness to learn continuously. 
• You have 5+ years of professional experience e.g. in project/program management, product management, management consulting, business operations, or any comparable role in a fastpaced, tech-driven environment. 
• Fluency in English is required; German is a strong plus given our Munich headquarters and DACH market presence.
