Senior Site Reliability Engineer

We are looking for a Senior SRE to contribute to the scaling and guide the architecture of the infrastructure that runs our compliance and investor relations platform. You will be a key contributor to our complex, multi-cloud environment, spanning AWS public and private clouds across Germany, France, and Switzerland. If you demonstrate deep proficiency with key tools like Terraform and Kubernetes, and possess advanced technical expertise in domains like Observability, Distributed Systems, and High Availability, let's talk.

YOUR IMPACT

As a core member of the SRE team, you'll have the autonomy to make a significant impact by leading key strategic infrastructure initiatives. You'll work closely with your SRE colleagues, acting as a key partner to our Product Engineering teams across continents, instrumental in scaling and securing our global infrastructure.

Architecture & Modernization: Lead the strategic design of all new systems while actively modernizing, migrating, and stabilizing existing legacy infrastructure components.
Automation & IaC: Manage and evolve systems using Terraform and Ansible. Automation is a core focus to efficiently reduce repetitive operational work.
Reliability & Operations: Drive best practices to ensure robust Observability (monitoring, logging, tracing). Participation in the on-call rotation and support for incident response are required.
Technical Strategy: Contribute to defining the future technical direction and making informed long-term decisions about the infrastructure and tech stack.

THIS IS YOU

You are a seasoned engineer with demonstrated capability to lead by example and embrace complex, ongoing responsibilities.
Core Tooling Proficiency: Deep proficiency and hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (experience with other IaC tools is appreciated). Advanced Kubernetes administration experience is essential.
SRE Domain Knowledge: A broad understanding of core SRE practices (automation, incident management, capacity planning) combined with practical experience and focus in key domains like Observability, Networking, Distributed Systems, or High Availability.
Programming Skills (Strongly Preferred): Proficiency in languages like Go or Python is key to developing internal tooling and effectively integrating with the application stack.
Communication & Drive: Excellent English communication skills. The ability to be naturally curious, highly outspoken, and comfortable defending technical ideas and constructively challenging others is essential for effective collaboration across remote, international teams.
